Previously-aired television shows are powering the DVD industry of late. This makes your idiot-reporter want to go off on a lengthy rant again--about folks who regularly resell us stuff we've already bought. These same-fine-folks keep trying to set up broadcast flags and have forced consumer electronics firms not to put firewire on their tuners so that we can't record to D-VHS or DVD. Endearing And Talented Voice Dies
Paul Winchell, who showed up on your toobs as the voice of Tigger in both words and song, did an enormous number of cartoon characters, and even did the "Thcrubing-Bubblth-Tho-You-Don't-Half-Tooooooo" on his way down the drain on many a television commercial--has died at the age of 82. We here at Toob sang a short requiem round of "The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers..." in his honor. You see, he was bouncy, jouncy, bouncy-jouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun... and the wonderful thing about Winchell, was he was the only one.
